Additional Environmental and
Performance Parameters of Smart Fieldmeter
Questions:
1. What is the temperature operation range?
2. What is the humidity operation range?
3. What is the resolution?
4. What is the overload field?
Answers:
1. Temperature range of this meter we tested is
0 C - 50 C. The associated thermal error
with respect to calibration temperature of 24 C depends on the range but is
less than 0.08 dB/C.
2. Humidity RH operating range for the whole
system is 5% - 90%, non-condensing.
The probe and meter are “splash proof”.
Probe
is sealed by design. On request
we may supply an environmentally enhanced variant of the probe (not meter) operating
at RH=100%, condensing.
3. Resolution is defined by the display.
Maximum resolution is:
0.01
V/m (ranges 2 V/m, and 20 V/m), 0.1 V/m (range 200 V/m), and
1 V/m (range 600 V/m).
The
sensitivity of the device (the lowest field it can measure within the specified
error) is 0.2 V/m.
4.
Current system can measure the fields as high as 600 V/m. Probe can withstand maximum field strength
of 1,500 V/m (0.6 W/cm2) continuously, and its maximum pulse power
density for 300 us pulses (duty cycle <1%) is at least 20W/cm2.
